HGW 5202 - Football is one of the famous sport in earth. Some says that football has unite the world. Every national football team will try to be the champion in every event that held. As widely known, Brazil has become more popular by football rather than uniquely amazone river. Majority country in the world love football as the first sport. There are country that put football as second sport such as USA and Philippine where basketball have more fans than football, but despite that football also become an important sport to be advance. Because football has a direct line to make the country more famous, which mean football also promote the country in other aspect.

Every national football team in the world will try their best to join the World Cup, but only 32 country in the world deserve to be.  Hold the world cup trophy is a dream for every country on the world. Without any force from any body, world cup trophy has make people in the world  have the same dream, to hold the trophy, however there are also a competition that sometimes bring the fans from different country take into clash action with competitor fans. United and competitive at the same time, that is football. It happen in every single competition no matter how  big or even small.

This month football fans in Southeast Asia has celebrate the football event that held in the Vietnam and Singapore. Some of them are sad and even crying because of their national team has withdrew from the competition. Yet, only two National Football Team will play on the Final match this week, Malaysia and Thailand.

Maybe this world not recognize Southeast Asia because of football achievement in this region. This region more well known in sport only by Badminton. Even football is the first  sport here. None of Southeast Asia country has take a part at World Cup, none of Southeast Asia player has play in big league over the Europe. But this two years annual event in this region has it special legitimate for football fans. For a while the ASEAN (Association of southeast asia) don’t having the same goal or agreement because every country try to be the one and only champion.

Southeast Asia football cup, known as AFF Suzuki Cup sometimes make the fans bring the hot topic into the stadium, about the border line or about the culture that occurred. Football match between Indonesia and Singapore have it own tension, Malaysia vs Philippine also have it own spicy.

Football is not politic or culture, football is sport which collaborate with skill, art and power, but for the fans is different. Sometimes their assume that football is being proud. We cannot say that it’s make we feel annoyed because football without fans is nothing. The fans has make football more interest to watch. Just enjoy it, but don’t make it to serious, because football match is only 90 minutes, it can’t change the political or culture issues.

This week we are going about to watch final match between Malaysia and Thailand. Let’s enjoy our ASEAN Cup, let’s compete for the better achievement. Until one day, our dream to watch the member of Southeast Asia country play on the World Cup, for meanwhile let’s enjoy this Cup, be enemy for about 90 minutes but after that we are brother.
